What do ancient (and some modern) texts have to say about the contemporary ethical challenges. Join Rabbi Jay Kelman for a lively discussion of how jewish ethics adopts, confronts and challenges the ethical mores of modern society. issues to be addressed include organ donations and living wills, technology and Torah, and globalization and social ethics.
The Prosserman JCC is incredibly proud to have Rabbi Jay Kelman facilitate this program. He provides a popular monthly column, Money Matters, which is published in the Canadian Jewish News. Rabbi Kelman was born and raised in Toronto, Canada, and in addition to his founder and leadership roles in Torah in Motion, Rabbi Kelman teaches Ethics, Talmud and Rabbinics at the Community Hebrew Academy of Toronto. He and his wife Ilana are the proud parents of six children.
