The Power of a Personal TrainerPosted on Jan 31, 2013 10:45am
A personal trainer is not just someone to help you learn a few exercises and terms. It's someone to help motivate you and push you to reach your health goals. Choosing one is vital to your own success.
Maria Sanna is a personal trainer at the Prosserman JCC and here is what one of her clients had to say about working with her:
"As an over-70 first-time gym user with no understanding of how to train or use any gym machines, weights or pulleys I desperately needed help to get started.
Fortunately, when I joined the Prosserman JCC in the Spring of 2012, I signed up with Maria Sanna as my personal trainer. The results of her guidance and coaching over the last six months have been nothing short of astounding!
I'm now fitter and stronger than at any time in the last 20 years. Every exercise, every weight, every repetition that I now easily handle are all more than double than those of only six months ago. Now, once again, I have real upper-body muscles; so I not only feel better, I look better. Maria has also ensured that I understand not just which exercise, weights and machines to use - but how to use them. She has carefully taught the correct techniques for getting the very best results out of my efforts. Maria's training has taught me how to enjoy getting those positive results, and how a man over 70 can look and feel like a man under 60 again. Thanks Maria!"
