Prosserman JCC Supplementary Hebrew Schools are a welcoming and inclusive community school for Jewish and Israeli secular families in the North York and the Mid-Town area, dedicated to fostering a love of Israel, Jewish culture and Hebrew language acquisition delivered with the highest educational standards. We offer multiple classes on Sunday mornings for non-Hebrew and Hebrew speakers from Preschool to Grade 7, ages 3-13 years old. In addition, Tuesday evening classes for non-Hebrew speakers from Grade 3 to Grade 7 (8-13 years old).

Our programs
JRoots
JRoots specializes in supplementary Jewish education for non-Hebrew speaking children ages 3-13. JRoots instills an appreciation and understanding of Jewish Identity (Holidays, Torah Stories, Jewish Values, Israel), develops Hebrew literacy and conversational skills, and connects students to the Kehillah (JCC and GTA’s Jewish Community). JRoots combines a unique educational approach with an inclusive and exciting school culture, most innovative practices and materials, devoted professional staff of educators and inspiring in-person and online events for students and families.

Kachol Lavan
Kachol Lavan focuses on Hebrew language acquisition and preservation, Israeli culture, Jewish tradition and heritage, knowledge of Israel and holiday celebrations through an experiential, dynamic and valuable curriculum. The program is delivered with exceptional educational content catered to every age group by a skillful team of professionals who inspire students in the classrooms as well as their families and members of the community. The school welcomes Hebrew speaking children from Preschool to Grade 7 ages to an exciting and meaningful learning experience in an Israeli atmosphere!
